This secondary programme will give you exposure to post-16 teaching, enabling you to teach at A Level if you wish.
It involves 120 days of taught teaching time in very contrasting schools, plus 20 days teaching your subject in a Sixth Form/FE environment.
We will build your school placements based on what we learn about you at interview and no two trainees will have the same experience.
Alongside your mainstream school placements, you will have Professional Studies and guest speakers visit weekly as local experts in their field.
You will have access to our Life Coach for your wellbeing and to fully prepare you for interviews for jobs.
We have a 100% local employment rate.
You will also be equipped with a behaviour management tooklit as a result of intensive training and you will visit schools in very different circumstances.
For two weeks of the year, you will have enhancement placements predominantly in Sixth Form to give you that exposure to post 16 teaching.
Included in the £6165 tuition fees, you also receive an additional qualification as you will leave the programme as a Chartered Teacher of the PSHE Association [Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education]. This will ensure you can prepare your pupils for life in modern Britain.
